Learning Django From the documentation

After learning Python, decided to learn django 1.5 using windows, first I was using this for db mysql then had trouble connecting it so I went back to sqlite.

#findout what’s your django version

python -c "import django,sys; print(django.get_version()); print(sys.version)"
python -c "import sys; print(sys.version)"

https://docs.djangoproject.com/en/1.5/
Download django
unzip django
open cmd

python setup.py install

#setting

DATABASES = {
    'default': {
        'ENGINE': 'django.db.backends.sqlite3', # Add 'postgresql_psycopg2', 'mysql', 'sqlite3' or 'oracle'.
        'NAME': 'madindo', # Or path to database file if using sqlite3.
        # The following settings are not used with sqlite3:
        'USER': 'root',
        'PASSWORD': '',
        'HOST': 'localhost', # Empty for localhost through domain sockets or '127.0.0.1' for localhost through TCP.
        'PORT': '', # Set to empty string for default.
    }
}
